are u using pal or ntsc

EDIT
have a look here http://www.maxconsole.net/forums/showthread.php?t=40689 as it sounds like a problem with x/y coordinates worth a try or play around with stretch settings in fpsece ini im not sure if its possible to put a negative value to shrink image to size tho.

is this the only version of the iso you have tried ?, have you tried in epsxe?. i would say 99% its a problem with the pal to ntsc display as this was a problem in some ps1 imports that required a pal fix to display colours and x/y coordinates properly BUT in my non techniacal view this shouldnt be present in fpsece as its capable of running pal/ntsc so it is rather odd. i dont have this game so cant test myself but first try a different iso as it could be a small possability it has a x/y fix that is causing fpsece problems, sorry for rambling typing as i think lol

CloudStrife86 wrote:fpselog.txt contains the last run game information. Run the game, then exit (make sure EnableHLE=off). Find fpselog.txt and see what the GameID is. IDs starting with SCUS or SLUS or anythingUS are NTSC, PAL games have SCES, etc.
You could also download PSX2PSP and open the ISO with that: It should come up with detailed information about the disc, and should actually state whether it's NTSC or PAL.

Sorry , i found the file, but could not find Game ID...
