I think I have solved the FMV problem on my HD2...

If you load a state (with the supporter version), you will have a grey screen and NO video.

But if you load from MEMORY CARD, you will have sound, and THEN only you can load from a state (supporter version) and HAVE the videos !

Something is still wrong with the Load / Save state of the supporter version.

Nice work anyway, and THX for this excellent software !
:D

Hi, this is my first post, I hope all of you can help me please.

I have the supporters version, and I'm trying to play FFVIII in my i8000, but it has a lot of errors:

1. I can't get more than 30-40fps, don't understand why. It it because I have SPB mobile shell? It it a RAM problem?
2. The sound is very laggy. I've changed the .ini as you say, and the quality is improved, but keeps lagging (maybe because of the 30 fps)
3. Most of the time, when I leave landscape mode to go back to vertical mode, the game crashes, and my top bar of Windows Mobile disappears forever, until I reenter fpsece and exit well, or if I restart the device.
4. If in the options/ini I put fullscreen (I really want it because the pads are too much in the middle), it's impossible to leave the landscape mode. I believe it is because the 2 pixels we have to click "leave" the screen due to the stretching of the fullscreen.
5. Save/Load do not work. When I save, the asterisks fill the bar, and when they're done, fpsece crashes. Same for loading.

I changed the .ini files as written before in these posts, and tried everything you posted. The only improvement I got was the sound quality, but the game is still so laggy, the sound also, and without the fullscreen is very hard to control because the pads are almost in the middle. I don't like the stylus control, so I preferred the usual pad.

Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards.

which version of FpseCE are you using?

Can you past the file fpse.ini?

Supporters version, received it last night so it must be the most updated one.

.ini annexed.

Can you exit landscape mode with fullscreen? I think that's an error and not a problem of configuration, because the screen becomes stretched and the button "disappears" to the outer bounds of the screen, so to say.

Please help. :(

Maybe not...
When I analyse the ISO, apparently I can only compress the videos. Where can I see detailed info about compressing the ffviii iso?

Hello my first post, not sure if this is the right place, but i read a lot and found this ff8 thread so i guess this is the place.

My problem: No sound for opening movie, In game music is a bit off noticed in balamb garden the.. i guess you could say "horn" part of the song is being "tooted" instead of the full melody. The harp sounding part plays perfectly though

My Phone: HD2- Tmobile version(if that helps)
OS: windows 6.6
ROM: 3.14.531.1 (official update from t-mobile/htc)
fpsece version: .10 (the one listed on page as of 12/10/2010)

Tried peopspu109.dll already, and still no sound
Any help would be appreciated.

Also I can't find this ".ini" folder i keep hearing about. When i go to program files/fpse I don't se any .ini folder but I do see a text document labled "fpse" that allows me to change the settings. Will that folder work the same as the "ini" folder you dudes have?
Thanks again
