Hey guys,
I have tried all those ini changes and ive tried playing around by myself to try and get the FMV's working with sound (I know the iso does work cause I tried it in epsxe :D and also because I burned it with subchannel data selected(that tick box thing)

other ini changes that don't seem to do s*** all

SPUIRQWait=1
UseReverb=1
UseInterpolation=1
UseDBufIrq=1
CDDA2SPU=on
RunSPUsync=on
UseOtherMDEC=on
CDUseCache=on
CDCacheSize=16384
CDStreamSpeed=0

This is what my current INI looks like and it still don't work.

Oh I have fpsece 0.10.1 - supporters version

Final Fantasy VIII

Postby DUXNEKRON » Sat May 08, 2010 10:20 pm

When we load FF8 with:
LastSPU=0peopspu109.dll
.
.
The result ll be no Cinematic movies sound in FF8 but in game sounds ll be OK.
.
but if we change to LastSPU=peopspu109.dll
.
We have cinematic movies sound, but the sounds in game ll be very weired, really bad game sounds.
.
.
In FF4 its the opposite, with LastSPU=0peopspu109.dll we ll have bad game sounds, but with LastSPU=peopspu109.dll the in game sounds are OK, but the Cinematic movies ll be very choppy and weired.
.
.
I am lost here, there is any way to have good game sounds and cinematic sounds?
.
.
Thanks

try the old timing,

create a patch into gamelist.ini for your game, then put Patch=64 to use old timing.

Hi Guys, tried to search this in forum and google but can't find the answer.
When I'm trying to do limit breaks and change attack to the limit break, I can't do so.

I've HD2 and supporter's version, with the optimized pack and also changed the setting of my FF8 ini to what was posted here which works really good (some sound problem, sometimes slow but negligible), but I think the case is more on multitouch. Anyone can shed me some light? Thanks.

By the way, here's my setting. Works good with some buggy background sounds, but fine. Thanks slanseith.

i noticed that between the death of "Junctioned Ultimetica" and her "final form" it take some times .....

my setting is :
- LastSPU=peopspu109.dll
- RunSPUsync=OFF
- SPUIRQwait = 1
- GFXDRV = 3
no more change in INI file

i also watched the end Scene with song and no problems with video ...

take a try with this setting

hope this will help ;)

I have EXACTLY the same problem with my HTC TP2 :'(

I can play the game, but after saving (with supporter version), I have a black screen on videos (and game freezes), or a grey screen (but it comes back to game.
I use the supporter version, and make my saved games with it.

Any Idea ?

Thanks for your assistance.
