Castlevania + JXD S7100

ok, so I bought this new gaming tablet and purchased your fpse from the android market which I am very happy with. Unfortunately I am getting nothing but sound stuttering in this castlevania game??? My tablet is running 2.2.1 firmware. What am I doing wrong? Even on other games like wipeout 2097 this occurs. I have tried dual core boost which slows everything down.
This is obviously a noob question but I am very frustrated as the information regarding roms and pocket iso seem to be geared towards pocketpc gaming and not Android.
