I just flashed my first WinMo 6.1 on my phone (Tilt2 comes with 6.5). It appears I do get an increase in FPS by about 3-5. Just checking to see how many others use 6.1 and if they have any comparisons between the two.

If we could get GFXDRV=4 (directx) to work, we could see upwards of 10 FPS increase!

I'm not sure how accurate this statement is. I was talking to schtruck some time last week, and he said something like "...if GAPI and LFB are [something] in [something], then you won't see much, if any, difference with DirectX". I can't remember what the "somethings" were, they might have been "reading" and perhaps "fpselog"... I'm not sure.

I used Cosmik Debris r1.1. It is for GSM phones and I dont remember if yours is GSM or CDMA.

I have to tell you though, I went back to 6.5. It's kinda weird that I couldn't stand 6.5 at first and now I can't go back to 6.1....

there is a newly released rom called jackos hybrid 6.1 with sense 2.1 on xda... downloading it now... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=618063 it's supposed to be a good mix of the smooth scrolling of 6.5 and sense 2.1 with the speed of wm 6.1.

Let me know if you see any FPS improvements.

So.. no real noticeable fps increase after trying the above rom:(
