Hi,
I'm having two problems with the emulator, first and foremost as soon as it loads I get an error and the HD2(US Version) crashes and trys to send an error report to microsoft. Second problem the phone will not let me edit the .ini files is there anyway around this?

So you installed free version. Then copied BIOS file into bios folder and get some Game Isos right? And all it does is not even launch the "select ISO"?
About the *.ini files. You can open em with any text editor you like. I personaly connect my HD2 to PC and edit them in notepad as its much more confortable.

So, I got the .ini files(used my PC --much easier; Thank you),but both the free version and supporter versions are still crashing the phone (causing errors and trying to report to microsoft).

Let me verify. You installed free version. Copied BIOS file into BIOS folder. And then get some games. And when you launch FPSEce it doesnt even go to "Select ISO" screen right? And you didnt change anything right? Maybe you should just PM schtruck (developer).

Thank you, Kowboy for your help. I got it up and working(roms are working right now) just need to figure out how to work the controls. I set what I thought are the buttons(are the silver buttons at the bottom supposed to work?) any way I'm going to try your optimized pack, but I might need some help. Do I have to edit the .ini file to match numerical value of the control button assigned to a button... ie: X=013 w/SimonMallion's Skin Pack and if so witch lines correspond with witch buttons. A helpful assist would have been an updated .ini file w/the skin.

There is no need to go into config files (*.ini). Stay in FPSEce interface. Now please watch all of the help videos.
Also please have a look in Setting overlays in our Complete How To Guide.

And btw, dont double post (two post). There is an Edit button for you to edit your previous message =)
