Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
Hello, my bgp100 gamepad arrived this morning but i am having trouble setting it up. First of all i choose the samsung i300 driver because there is no tosh tg01 one. Just wondering what the password/key is, i tried 0000 on my first attempt but that didnt seem to work, unistalled and tried again but this time it wont accept 0000. Also is there anything else i need to do after that?

I would check the support section. I believe my walk though go copied there. Otherwise I don't remember what thread it was in....

try 1234, or see if it's possible to pair it without using a password
And try to pair it before installing the driver

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
I put in the passcode 0000, i get a meesage saying that the bluetooth device has connected to my pocket pc, i click ok and on the main menu the gamepad is under disconnected, i click on ok, and get sent to serial port, i tick the box. Then i set up a new out going port on com2, i go back and try to connect and all i get is the message the game pad connection failed or the password is incorrect?
When i install the samsung driver on my pc, i get a message on my tosh to install the software so i am doing that right, i just dont get what i am doing wrong? It does work on win 6.5? Sorry i am a complete noob when it comes to things like this.

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
do you have the supporter version, or the free version?
If you have the supporter version, just don't install the msi drivers, just pair the gamepad to port2 as you did ans start fpsece

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
at least, can you have it in the bluetooth devices list, and set to com2, even if then you can't see it as connected to the tg01?

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
I loaded up fpsece, and i got it working, i didnt bother with the hd2=1 bit, just added the BTPAD=2 and BTPAD_TYPE=1, to be on the safe side. Ok next problem, i cant map the start, r or l button, any help on that The buttons dont seem to work and also there is no select button on the actual pad. Do i need these Under bluetooth on the phone it is still under disconnected and when i try to connect it still fails but yet it works with fpsece, nice one I am able to map the start+select on the screen and use the buttons that way as well as being able to use the gamepad at the same time, problem solved

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
Does anyone knows if any usb gamepad works with those drivers in the toshiba TG01? Id like to buy a cheap usb gamepad: - atomic-accessories DIGITAL PAD USB PLATINUM http://www.foxprice.it/product_info.php ... ts_id=7245 - or trust GM1520 gamepad http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=14801Do you think each of them will work on TG01 as plug and play...or should they need drivers? thank you

Re: .cab to install USB gamepad drivers for the TG01
The drivers I've posted in the 1st message of this thread are generic drivers. They are supposed to work with every gamepad, but some won't work, especially if they are "sophisticated" or using a lot of power for extra-functions, leds, or have too many buttons (turbo mode, combo buttons, etc) Example: my microsoft sidewinder pro is not working. Also I'm quite sure the stick of the second gamepad you're suggesting wouldn't work, I think the drivers are not ready mor analogic. The more simple the gamepad is, the more chances you'll have to get it working Also note you won't have vibration functions or other, and leds will take a lot of power (USB gamepad tend to need a lot of battery, even without leds, and the USB function stops when the battery goes under 30%) To summurize: I really can't tell what gamepad will work or not, I mean there's no list, trying it it the only solution. But I think the gamepads you're suggesting are a little too complicated for the drivers....(I suggest just one direction pad, and a maximum of 8 buttons+start/select) One thing is sure, the dicota foldable pad is 100% working ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMkKLhFJMN0) and is the smallest I've found. But if you wan't a pad to play both on your TG01 and your PC.......hum...well....a bigger one for the PC would be nice.
