Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Can it still render at native resolution of screen if I have screen with higher resolution than 1920x1080 ? I believe you can, that's why he said "reduce to 1920x1080". Personally, I think if you can tell a difference of OpenGL rendering between 1080p and QHD on a phone screen, you're lyi...

Indeed - in a previous post you mentioned two features that are important that everyone has been waiting for. Was the sound fix one of them? What were/are they?

Re: Load fast saves files from my pc in my android??

You can move over memory cards from PC to android (just change the extension to what android is expecting), but I do not believe there's a way to port over save states. How an emulator saves a state is very specific to that emulator, as opposed to a memory card, which is a certain formatting. Basica...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Thanks Schtruck, excellent that you can change shaders on the fly. The new shaders run really slow on my Note 2, but look great. It'll be amazing with more powerful devices. Frankly, I think software 4x/FXAA shader/screen filtering is hard to beat overall, but I'll tinker with the OpenGL plugin later.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Sure, devices may not be powerful enough to render 16x resolution right now, but they should be in the future, and that would be a good feature to have ahead of time. That way, people can benchmark their fancy new devices and ask "can it run FPse at 16x software resolution???"

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

That 'half the screen' thing is due to an option being turned on... read the last few pages of this thread, it was mentioned. I think it's Boost Hi Res Games or something. The idea was this setting doubles some sort of resolution, but since you're running at 4x, you're essentially halving the resolu...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I didn't realize those filters worked with the HD software plugin. Games look amazing with it on. The only performance issues I've had was Quake II, Breath of Fire IV, and a slight framerate dip during certain spells in FFIX.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I was noticing some weird bugs with that. Thanks for narrowing it down to that setting.
