Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Hadn't heard any mention of the squaresoft slowdown bug in quite a while, so I thought I'd broach the subject again. In many squaresoft rpgs, notably the final fantasy games, there is a major performance hit associated with the menu overlays. This can easily be seen in FF9. Just enter a battle, watc...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

if you cant save then u are using HLE mode, uncheck the HLE mode on system menu then load a bios file.. fpse always save custom settings for each game each time you change the configuration while the game's running, on the final fantasy XII perhaps you've been set to use BIOS and use HLE Mode on Ra...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Hello guys! I'm currently using FPSECE on my Toshiba Folio 100 tab and it runs really smooth with the games I tried. But I wanted to ask if you could put some AA filter over it or do something for upscaling. It doesn't look too well sadly, I think you (we) could do something about that tho. Wish if...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Got a quick bug report. So, if you want to change games, you should be able to eject the current disc, pick the disc for the new game, then do a reset. This works. For example,I switched from FF9 to FF Tactics this way. The problem is,the emulator still references save states from the previous game.S...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

So what says our mighty ninja dev schtruck, he whose code-fu is the greatest? Any new thoughts on the direction you'll be taking with regard to eboot support?

Also, if you'd like anyone to help beta test this new version, I humbly submit my application :D

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

file formats can be copyrighted? a seperate plugin would be great Sorry, copyright isn't the right term. If they can go after fpse with eboot for anything, it would be patent infringement. And Sony has a huge patent library, and they're one of the most litigious companies on the planet. Also, if sc...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I don't know the copyright status of eboot, but I know psx4droid supported it for a long time with no problems. However, I suggest this: what if eboot support were added via a plugin, downloadable from this very forum? Then, the market version is eboot-free until the plugin is downloaded, and Sony c...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

@Schtruck, Please when you can fix Hot Wheels - Turbo Racing [U] [SLUS-00964], this game does not run yet! Thanks epsxe 1.7.0 does not emulate this game yet! Not to belittle fpse, but epsxe is the most sophisticated psx emu out there. If epsxe won't run it, it will probably be a while before fpse w...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Lots of people seem to be having issues with the last few updates (FF7 slowdowns, portrait/landscape issues, cm7 not working, etc.). If I might make a suggestion, if you're having weird issues, try backing up your memcards, save states, etc, clearing fpse data, uninstalling, and reinstalling. And fo...
