Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

@schtruck , nice updates mate, -feedback: With 0.11.24 without frameskip was unplayable (a lot of lags), with 0.11.29 without frameskip is really smooth, I get ~30-40fps but is smoother. With frameskip activated with 11.24 and 11.29 is the same, more fast but not so smooth. With ColinMcRae Rally 2....

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

It's likely, I just see one difference on screen resolution, and many "Roms developers" already says are basically the same device, but I'm not 100% sure :ugeek:

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227-1 Turbo, ARMv6 (GT-S5830) , 832 MHz for(GT-S5830i) "more fast CPU" - 32 MHz difference on a single core. Not a big difference. I've not seen any evidence of more RAM or a different graphics chip - and even if there is, judging by the CPU 'upgrade', it can't be tha...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

GT-S5830 is completely different than GT-S5830 i , different hardware, more fast CPU, more RAM, etc (3rd time) I know galaxy ace gt-s5830i is not the ultimate quad-core device, but is the mid-range, the standard smartphone, but anyways I guess with so many excuses I'll not get better performance wit...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

What are you talking about? You can back up save games to your SD card and restore them. I also don't get why you are complaining about performance on a very low end budget device. The app just flies on the vast majority of devices, and it is easily the fastest PSX emulator on the market. I already...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I am really sorry to say that, schtruck, because I think you are a great developer, and FPse is great also. But all those updates have not improved FPse on my device, made it even worse. I tested all updates and I always have to downgrade back to 0.10.15 ... Especially the sound timing and quality ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Quad core CPU may be necessary if you want 60fps in openGl with EVERY flitering options ON My HD2 and my wife's Motorola Defy (single core o/c at 1000mhz) run Fpse really well, openGL can be used too, just with frameskip and not too much filtering stuff^^ (and ok, tekken 3 will remain a little slow...
