Seems that is my problem. No progress bar and after a minute the progress bar pops up and loads the covers. Then another minute to wait till I can use it

Schtruck unfortunatley I don't have any space on my internal card at the moment. I'm even running FPSE off the sd card.

However I'm happy playing it without the game covers.
I've noticed a nice speed improvement with this update. Just need to decide on a game to play now

Won't work for me since updating. It freezes before it gets to the games list.

Sorry for lack of reply. I made another thread in general and was also able to solve the issue. I didn't realise there was a gamepad detect option in the misc settings. Reinstalled and freezing problem is gone

I have a new problem since the update. Games have started 'freezing randomly. Then after a couple of seconds run normal again
When froze the fps display also freezes and i can't get into the menu

Thanks for the tip but I managed to solve it without a reinstall. I located the option in misc to turn iff the pads
