Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

BTW, my own bug report: xenogears is basically totally broken now, title screen and options menus are all messed up, if you start a new game and wait past the video and story text (can be sped up/passed by pressing the buttons) fps drops to TWO FPS with a black screen!! Though the game is still pla...

You are more than likely loading the game straight from a save state. Make sure you load the game through an in-game save first, then load the save state. If you don't do the in-game save first, you will experience gray FMVs.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

One thing I noticed when updating to the newest version is that as soon as FPSe was finished installing, it reset my G2. I made sure that there was no problem with the app itself by loading up several games, but I have never had an app reset my phone before after installation. But, with that being s...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I wonder if the Square slow down bug is phone dependent. I am playing through FF7 on my G2 (stock) and haven't seen that bug. I enter a battle and hold down square. The menu disappears (but the stats still display) and the FPS stays at a constant 60 fps, no slowdown or even dip in performance.

Re: Final Fantasy VIII Problem

I echo this. I am playing through FFVII right now and my normal MO is to load a save from the mem card and then load the save state. I have had no issues with FMV since doing this. I also try to save in game as I go, just in case a save state gets corrupted or something equally bad.

Re: FPse for Android "marketing"

I just worry that if you add PSX or some variation to the name that it might make it a target to get pulled.

Re: Final Fantasy VIII Problem

What are your settings? Are you using savestates (the instant ones, not the in game saves)? I have read that others have played this just fine, so give some more info and let's see if we can figure this out.

Re: Motorola Droid 2 performance question

Thanks for the reply! I was kinda thinking along those lines, but wanted some firsthand experience. I was showing my brother FPSe and my other emulators on my phone and I think I got him tempted. He is on Verizone here in the states so his options are a little limited. I figured he could either get ...

Motorola Droid 2 performance question

I was wondering what the performance of FPSe was on the Droid 2? Do you get a constant 60 fps? How is using the keyboard for the controls? Do you need to root and/or overclock to enjoy FPSe? Thanks!
