Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Am I the only one who thinks that the sound emulation on the latest versions of FPSE is inferior to previous ones? I am currently playing FF IX (NTSC/U) on stock SGSII (4.0.4) using software rendering (2D elements look worse with OpenGL mode on) and SpuSync. I've played about 50% of a game without ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

How exactly did you 'reset all settings'? Did you uninstall and reinstall FPSE? Did you 'clear data' for FPSE under the Android 'manage applications'? I already dis too, didn't make any difference for me though. I see epsxe is also back from the dead, even for android. Tested it, works like a charm...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Bluezeak is right too about the sound issues, especially in ff9. I went back to an older version and ff9 runs optimal both sound and video in softgpu which is fine for me now. I just want to play smooth that's all.

Perhaps schtruck fixes these things in newer versions of fpse. I hope so :-)

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

It's not up for downloading it yet on Play Store I just mentioned. Hopefully soon will be, can't wait to test it out and share results. But the ultimate goal would be making it run at original speeds in bith opengl and softgpu without the use of frameskip etc. so no lags etc. Thanks so far for your ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Schtruck, I would like to download an older version of fpse again. Where can I do this? I bought it via play store since the start of fpse. But I haven't found a way to revert back to .28 version....

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Hi all, I'm new to these forums. My question is about ff7 as of the last 3 or 4 updates of fpse (up to and including .37). The music is sounding very strange, slowing down and speeding up drastically in-game. I've got a backup of .28 in which the audio runs fine... I've tried adjusting a large amou...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Schtruck, it's weird! You say sound should be perfect now but in ff9 it still doesn't sound any different than the last version. The moogle sound is not heqrable, the cursor.bleeps are still weird. Even with the new "distortion" option there is no difference. Have yet to try other games. A...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Thnx for the updates so far. I can confirm weird sounds in FF9 now. Especially the cursor bleep sounds very "childish" now. I have to do more testing with different settings.
