I'll do my best to answer your questions here, as my interests were very similar when I decided to purchase my PLAY! 1/ Personally, I don't think so. Not sure where it's stored exactly - I can never find it myself - but if you do Settings --> Misc --> Backup all files, that will create an fpsebackup folder on your SD card, in there will be your mem card files :)
