Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Is there any word on the release of a patch? Schtruck said 24 hours several days ago. I would rather have a fix for the framerate first rather than wait on a savestate fix.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

About Parasite Eve 2, yes snif, we lost compatibility, we'll check the reason, but are you sure it worked in 0.10.53? because i've tested on PC version and it seems we lost compatiblity times ago. I can assure you that PE2 was working in 0.10.60, as I have actually been playing through that recentl...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I hate to pile on the bad news for Schtruck, but I too am seeing no performance boost with the new version. I'm even using an Xperia Play, which he said runs many games full speed. Parasite Eve 2 now won't get past the Square EA logo FF9 still slows down a ton during battles when the menu is up Gran...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Are there any performance gains to using PocketISO or Eboot format compared to standard iso/bin/img? The FPSE website indicates that PocketISO is better, but I've never seen it work better than standard ISO did.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Sound emulation is one of the hardest things to emulate accurately. Spu processing is heavily reliant on the timing and synchronization amongst the various processors in the original system. Because all those chips from the psx are being emulated on a single core processor, it gets tricky. I have n...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Sound emulation still has problems in FF7 even with SPU Sync on. Compare the battle sounds of a real PSX to the battle sounds of FPSE and you'll immediately notice a difference in certain things (Cloud's sword swings, certain enemy attacks, etc) It's decent, but there are a lot of sounds that are in...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

illuminerdi, Boost mode works on my Xperia... Which Xperia Play build number are you on? (blah).181 or .184? Also, are you on 2.3.3 or 2.3.2 - I'm running a Canadian (GSM) Xperia with build 181, Android 2.3.2 - however US and European models have all gotten one or both of these software updates whi...
