Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I didn't realize those filters worked with the HD software plugin. Games look amazing with it on. The only performance issues I've had was Quake II, Breath of Fire IV, and a slight framerate dip during certain spells in FFIX. It really is astounding how much faster FFIX runs in HD software more tha...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I'm unsure of what the last update did. I'm not seeing any changes on my end. Performance appears to be identical to the last update. All the while I have never once seen an improvement in OpenGL, which I've just given up on for even slightly demanding games at this point. Has anyone played Final Fa...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I was playing Final Fantasy Tactics (a hacked version, but the graphics aren't any different) and HD software mode just can't handle the game. It plays, and sometimes even at full speed, but it will bog down to as low as 30FPS relatively often. Does it have to do with rendering all that 3D and 2D to...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I've been experiencing a lot of crashes with the new release that fixed the license problem and the final fantasy swirl, I can't seem to play more than a couple minutes before fpse force closes, I'm playing ff9 and despite changing several settings including all the different shaders I seem to be S...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Nice, the license issue doesn't seem to be popping up now, and I can confirm that the battle swirl effect is working on FFIX.

It's not a big deal, but I mentioned how odd and green/yellow the scanline shader looked before. Any thoughts on that?

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Very good work! Aside from the unfinished battle swirl effects you mentioned, this works great with FFIX. Unfortunately, I'm still getting license check failures. Unfortunately, it's making the battle menus of FF IX disappear. I seem to recall that being an issue on OpenGL mode too, but there...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Awesome, seems to work great on my S3.

Unfortunately, it's making the battle menus of FF IX disappear. I seem to recall that being an issue on OpenGL mode too, but there was a video setting that fixed the issue. That setting doesnt exist on HD software mode... so I dunno.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

You work fast! Your customers definitely appreciate the effort. Looking forward to the update and playing with HD software mode. Fingers crossed it works out for me.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Huh... that sucks. If Mali GPUs just suck then maybe these updates aren't even going to make a difference for me. Still, I would think the multicore change would do... something. Well, the Malis and Adrenos don't suck per se, I think the companies behind them are just quickly releasing crappy drive...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I don't experience very noticable choppienss on either device, but maybe i've just learned to ignore it. Also, I haven't been following much of the development progress for a while, but i tought Mali gpus were some of the more troublesome for fpse to work with (one of the others being the old Adren...
