Xperia is an HTC phone (design and build). It has the same hardware as the HTC Diamond, Touch Pro, HD... (and the same drivers, a bit modified but nothing very different) The best thing you can do is to run SKTools benchmark. And you can compare results with TG01, Omnia... whose are posted in this f...

You're right, but... My Omnia II has an FPU unit too, but it's actually not IEEE compliant. It means that those FPU implementations can work in the way they want, and nor Windows Mobile or any software can actually take advantage of it. It's too much device-specific -like those crappy opengl-es driv...

You have to remember that MHZ does not have something to do with speed. Exemple : PocketPC, phones, Iphone... are actually using ARM architectures : This sort of CPU's does not have any floating-point unit (but they are much more battery friendly than any other CPU). Remember : Pentium and Cyrix CPU...
