Well I'm totally stuck. I can't start a new game because the name screen hangs up. I choose my vibration setting (doesn't matter which I choose), the screen goes black, then nothing. I've got a similar problem as Joshua. I just boarded the airship, Cait Sith says it's now mine, and as soon as I dismiss the dialog, the game starts to run really slow. I've tried both creating those files and deleting those files. The same thing happens whether or not those files exist.

Do I need to download an existing .mcd file in order for it to work?
