When I go to menu, settings, gamepad, map the hardware buttons, gamepad 1, and try to assign any (trying to get the fast forward button) it goes to a loading circle saying "press a key for the gamepad 1's button:" but there's nothing to press and just maintains the loading circle. Any idea...

Just advertising my Vandal hearts 2 post if someone could take the time to have a look and suggest settings/ help then it'd be greatly appreciated. It's in game specific.

Hello, Vandal hearts 2 keeps keeps.crashing during the battle at prataus keep which is under attack. Happens everytime I kill someone. Any help or ideas for settings would be greatly appreciated.
