Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

- Sound is noticably worse than before. Both in timing and quality. It's not bad sound, it's just not as good as before. - enhanced audio doesn't stick between restarting FPSE so I'm not sure if it's working - enhanced audio - can't tell if it's making a difference, don't think so - reduced latency...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I have one question, does bilinear filtering mentioned before in the new software mode refers to "screenfiltering" (applied to full screen) or to textures on 3D objects? Because I didn't see any difference between screenfiltering on old and new software modes... To be honest, I don't see a...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

FF9 - software vs opengl - opengl is SO much better, graphically. but it is not nearly as smooth (fight scenes load choppy, so do some other things). I disagree about it tge 3d graphics being minor. All the characters are 3d - so EVERY time you look at a character you are looking at 3d. in town, in...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

sometimes i can hear sample, but not complete. Sometimes is beginning, sometimes ending. That's exactly what I wrote previously, but in my case with FF IX using newest FPSE version (0.11.39). On 0.11.34 the sound is correct. Hopefully the new version 0.11.40 will solve this issues for all FF series...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

The video posted by paku360 is using opengl graphics which is why his runs slower I know, so I emphasised that I run it in software rendering mode. For me FF IX in openGL is unplayable at the current development state. The visual improvement is visible only during battles and on the world map, I th...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I can confirm that version 0.11.34 works perfectly with FF IX :) Music sounds great, and even menu sounds are correct, without any glicks - just like on console. As I mentioned before, there is just a little bit of sound skipping during prerendered cutscenes, but it's not a big deal for me. The game...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Definately the problem with sound in FF IX was caused by recent changes in sound engine. It was fine few versions ago as I have finished 2 CDs without any problems. Now the sound issues are bothering me a lot and I would like to go back to the previous nice working version (0.11.32 as far as I remem...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Am I the only one who thinks that the sound emulation on the latest versions of FPSE is inferior to previous ones? I am currently playing FF IX (NTSC/U) on stock SGSII (4.0.4) using software rendering (2D elements look worse with OpenGL mode on) and SpuSync. I've played about 50% of a game without a...
