Yes, this affects the BIOS load sounds. OK, tried all kind of things and have completely wiped the tablet, put clean a bare ICS ROM on, installed thesoftware (from Play Store) and I am no longer getting the error message about reading/loading the config files.

However, the sounds stuttering is still the same as decribed above.
