Re: Galaxy Note - anyone getting decent performance with FPS

Ah OK, what I should've said is that I was playing it on TV via MHL adaptor to HDMI and having played on the phone on it's lonesome it's clear that connecting the phone to the TV caused the performance issues - I guess because the phone screen stays live and it's rendering both. Still got bloody gli...

Galaxy Note - anyone getting decent performance with FPSE?

Having spent 2 hours playing Medievil on FPSE yesterday with phonejoy I'm coming to the conclusion that the Galaxy Note isn't much cop at running FPSE. I'm using softgpu with 3d hardware ticked and frame limiter and boost mode but still getting slow down in multiple enemy scenes. Audio is almost per...

Re: Phonejoy native support screwy mapping and missing keys

Make sure you reset FPSE to defaults and don't do anything with the joypad settings apart from to select analog in joypad type - do nothing with bluetooth settings.

Re: Phonejoy Analog and FPSE 0.11

Beginning to think it may be my phone! Just played Wind-up Knight with phonejoy and BluezIME and there's noticable lag between button push and phone reaction - easy to see on Wind-up Knight as the buttons light on screen when pressed. When I played it through MHL on TV it was unplayable as that intr...

Driver OpenGL successful settings?

Just discovered the OpenGL plug - wow, that makes a difference! I have Galaxy Note running ICS 4.0.3 and I choose install OpenGL from internet (I assume that's the latest release?). I can't seem to get Driver play with getting some hefty old stutters in playback - it will literally stop for a second...

Stuttering audio - does PocketISO XA to mp3 help?

I seem to have very slight stuttering audio even with boost on and even during video cut scenes. It's not a massive more little glitches than stuttering - just wondered if using PocketISO and converting XA to MP3 might help? Seems to be biggest problem on Driver soundtrack music for some reason.

Re: Phonejoy Analog and FPSE 0.11

Hi Bluez - I didn't have any joy turning on either BGP100 or Icontrol Bluetooth unfortunately. The only way I can get analog working with 100% hit rate now is with the above procedure - nothing else seems to work. It seems the bluezIME driver works OK I suspect the fault is with FPSE implementation...

Re: Phonejoy native support screwy mapping and missing keys

Yeah that was me! I have a set procedure that works now: 1. Turn on Blue Tooth 2. Switch on phoney-joy and pair 3. Start FPSE (note that it doesn't give any message about connecting with phoney-joy on start up) 4. Quit FPSE (restart does not work for some reason) 5. Start FPSE again and press analog...

Re: Phonejoy Analog and FPSE 0.11

Right I THOUGHT I solved it but I haven't! After last nights one time success with getting the stick to behave properly with analog this morning I was back to square one  . So...with some persistence I now have a way of getting the phoney-joy to work properly and it's this: START UP BluezIME s...

Re: Phonejoy Analog and FPSE 0.11

Finally managed to get this working. Pair up the phonejoy with phone and start FPSE with default settings - do not touch anything under the joypad > bluetooth settings but you MUST change joypad type to analog. That seemed to sort out all the screwy key mappings I was getting and I now have a workin...
