After trying so many different combinations, I think I finally found the sweet spot. Dual core boost,with hardware acceleration enabled, spusync plugin, frameskip set to 20, and with the assistance of the CPU Tuner app, Parasite Eve ran perfectly on my HTC Rezound. I'll play around with the settings...
