i have tested Vagrant Story With FPse on Galaxy Note and HTC One X. on note it's fast but when in battle it's very slow. On HTC One X it's very fast everytime. i think you should try ICS on your device which have the last Adreno Driver and is very fast. Not sure. ICS porting ROM have some issue with some games. ICS run more heavy than Gingerbread. ( Cost more RAM, multitasking, OS effects and background services... ) Recommend to use Official or Cyanogen ...
