No speedup will be still there ;-) don't worry, my actual C code take the Java Bitmap but consider it's 32bits, then will convert it to 16bits. That's great news! @thazar: HLE means High Level Emulation, when this mode is ON, you can play without a bios. Same problem here..Laggy and missing sound in final fantasy vii and viii (haven't tried other games yet), slowdowns, music not playing in cutscenes (in FF viii) and that odd camera angle (in FF vii)
Also every time fpse loses my configuration files and I have to reset everything up again
