Still having multitouch issues, :S

Hey Guys, I've got a htc desire and have the latest version of fpse off of the market, However I'm still experiencing multitouch issues which is making crash bandicoot 2 impossible to play? What's the status on the multitouch atm, has it been fixed, or is it likely to be fixed in the next update(s)?...
