Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Xbox 360 controller does not communicate through bluetooth, it would be impossible to pair it wirelessly with an android device. The PS3 controller is not the most ergonomic, but it is good enough. For us who already have a PS3, it would be nice not having to spend 40 euro on a BT controller. Also, ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I wish FFIX would run smooth like that during battles on my X10i but for some reasons I have huge slowdowns in menus and battles. Isn't the HD2 and X10i pretty much on par with eachother hardware-wise?

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

And a fix for squaresoft RPGs would also boost FPse sales ;) Just another good reason why it would be nice if squaresoft RPGs ran nicely on FPse as soon as possible.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Screen filtering = Anti-Aliasing. I think it would be good if it was renamed to Anti-Aliasing, then people will know what it is. Once FPse runs most games flawlessly (and especially the Final Fantasy games) I think it would be good to work a little bit on the user interface, to make it more user-fri...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Unfortunately the latest update has broken multitouch on my X10i. An example from Metal Gear Solid: I can't for instance hold myself against a wall and knock the wall (hold directional button + press O). If I hold myself against a wall and press O, snake let's go of the wall and punches in the air, ...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

I would appreciate it a lot if you could add the option for haptic feedback for touchscreen controls, in other words, a small short vibration every time you press a button on the touchscreen. This improves control feedback a lot!

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

New hotfix is on Market of course, update your FPse app!

I still get a Force Close when trying to enter the INPUT/Touchscreen/ menu. That said, I'm not even sure if you fix was supposed to cure that too.

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Ok I tried without frameskip. Now cut-scenes don't have any sound at all, but also no lag. Sounds are once again kind of strange, especially noticeable in the menus. The classic *twink!* sounds like *tap*. :P Some other sound effects are off too. Battle menus are indeed visible without frameskip, bu...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

Installed the latest update - BIG improvement on my rooted X10i with custom 2.2! :D FF9 runs a lot better, sounds are good too - but the battle menu isn't visible at all! I hope you are able to fix that in the near future. Cut-scenes are not perfect, still some lag. Item/Ability/Status menu in FF9 i...

Re: Fpse for Android Discussion/Feedback

(Also posted on androidemus.com) I tried running FF9 in portrait mode, there is no difference in performance for me between landscape and portrait mode. I have frame limiter on and frameskip set to 45 fps and I would say it is almost acceptable in terms of smoothness, just some slight lag in battles...
